Workshop on Genomic Signal Processing and Statistics (GENSIPS)

Thanks to the support from DARPA, NSF, and the Kenan Institute, we are able to offer registration for a low fee of $100, which includes: conference proceedings on CD-ROM, Friday evening reception, Saturday and Sunday lunches, Saturday evening dinner with reception, and all coffee breaks.

Registration Information

  1. Each registrant must fill out an online registration form (registration is now closed) and submit the registration fee in the amount of $100. Payment must be received by the organizers no later than 30 days after the submission of online registration or October 12, 2002, whichever is sooner.
  2. Registration is on a first come - first served basis and is closed once 130 complete registrations have been received. (Registration is now closed).
  3. Payment should be in the form of a check or money order (international money order) acceptable by US banks, payable to North Carolina State University and sent to the following address

  4. There will be no refund on confirmed complete registrations.
  5. All questions regarding the registration process should be directed to Dr. Hamid Krim.

Travel Assistance

A limited number of grants will be offered to selected student authors and junior researchers to help defray their expenses of attending the workshop. Grant recipients will have their registration fees waived and some travel expenses reimbursed. To apply, please prepare a one-page resume and a one-page statement of why travel assistance is necessary in the individual's case including a reasonable budget estimate. Please send both documents to Dr. G. Tong Zhou. All applications must be received by September 1, 2002. (The deadline has now passed). Travel grants will be awarded based on merit, need, and relevance to the applicant's career.
